FORMULA:
Each 100 ml. contains:
Ammonium Chloride 1.50 g.
DMSO 15.00 ml.
Ethanol 96% 7.00 ml.
Phenol 0.50 g.
Distilled water qs 100 ml.

INDICATIONS FOR USE: The product is intended to cause analgesia in large muscle masses. This reduction in pain is mainly caused by the neurolytic effect of ammonium chloride, acting as an adjuvant with dimethyl sulfoxide. It is indicated for chronic myositis and myalgia and for muscle contractures.

DOSAGE: It has no preventive indication. As it is a locally acting medicine, the dosage is not based on body weight, but rather depends on the size of the area to be treated. Usually 50 ml intramuscularly, in each shoulder or 100 ml in each rump, will be sufficient. These quantities can be modified according to the criteria of the professional in charge. It is advisable to apply 5 ml at each injection point, removing the needle while injecting. The application can be repeated if the symptoms reappear. The duration of the treatment effect can be from 7 to 15 days.

CONTRAINDICATIONS AND PRECAUTIONS FOR USE: Do not use in animals sensitive to the active ingredient or excipients.
It is advisable not to use in pregnant females.
Its use is contraindicated when the injury to be treated may be aggravated by the treatment (acute myositis, recent muscle tears) or when the blockage implies a risk for the animal or the rider.
Do not apply to infected or acutely inflamed tissues.
It should not be mixed in the same syringe with other medications that may cause the precipitation of the active ingredient.
It is recommended to observe the rules of antisepsis before injecting the product.
It is advisable to massage the area after the infiltration and have the patient walk for 10-15 minutes.
Use protective gloves at the time of application.
Use with caution in animals with signs of dehydration, shock, kidney or liver pathologies.

SIDE EFFECTS: In some cases, signs of stinging, sweating or signs of restlessness (burning sensation) may appear, which disappear in 5 to 10 minutes.

Intended for sports horses.
It should not be administered to horses whose final destination is human food consumption.
