active ingredients included in the preparation provide its wide spectrum of antiparasitic action against ectoparasites and nematodes parasitizing in dogs:fleas (Ctenocephalides felis, Ctenocephalides can is);Â ixodid ticks (Dermacentor variabilis, Dermacentor reticulatus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes scapularis, Ixodes ricinus, Ixodes holocyclus, Haemaphysalis longicornis, Amblyomma americanum);
- gastrointestinal nematodes (Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina, Ancylostoma caninum, Ancylostoma braziliense, Trichuris vulpis);
- larvae of dirofilariae ( Dirofilaria immitis ).
Frontline Nexgard Spectra contains two active ingredients:Â afoxolaner and milbemycin oxime.
Afoxolaner is an insectoacaricide from the group of isoxazolines, known as the active ingredient of Frontline
The studies performed have demonstrated similar pharmacokinetics of afoxolaner molecules in combination with milbemycin oxime.
Thus, it was confirmed that the effectiveness against fleas and ticks oare at the same level.
The drug takes effect within 30 minutes after application.
The parasites die within 6 hours throughout the month.
The high speed of action prevents fleas from laying eggs, interrupting their development cycle, which makes it possible to effectively use  in the treatment of flea allergic dermatitis.
The action of afoxolaner against ixodid ticks begins within 4 hours after application.
Within a month, Frontlinetroys ticks within 24 hours, which is enough to prevent vector diseases transmitted by ticks: studies have shown 100% protection of dogs against infection with babesiosis and borreliosis.
Afoxolaner is effective for the treatment of generalized demodicosis and sarcoptic mange in dogs.
The effectiveness of therapy for these diseases was more than 99% one month after the start of treatment.
Due to the fact that afoxolaner is prescribed once a month and the dog is regularly seen by the veterinarian to assess the results of treatment, the cost of treatment is optimized.
The addition of milbemycin oxime made it possible to expand the spectrum of the drug’s action, adding to the effectiveness of afoxolaner the effect on helminths.
Frontline provides 100% prevention of dirofilariasis (action on microfilariae), and is also highly effective against other nematodes: ascaris, whipworms, hookworms.

Application and dosage:
Dogs individually orally once in a minimum dose of 2.5 mg of afoxolaner and 0.5 mg of milbemycin oxime per 1 kg of animal weight.
Repeated treatments in the season of greatest activity of ectoparasites are carried out monthly.
